The kontol Diaries
The Mekmek resembles an Archaeopteryx or Microraptor, equally ancient fowl/dinosaur species which are the assumed predecessors or pretty near-cousins to contemporary birds (respectively), consequently the chook-like visual appeal and features in the Mekmek. It's got a crest and large wings employed for gliding, thin legs, and a thin prolonged tail.
